Visit Smokey Bear & Woodsy Owl: Home Sweet Home, on exhibit June 15 – September 26, 2010, and hear important messages in pretend woodland, urban and stream settings that encourage families to spend time together outdoors, and inspire children to discover and care for the natural resources that sustain our world – our home sweet home.
This dynamic live insect exhibit will show visitors the life cycle of the Monarch butterfly, the Illinois state insect, on exhibit May 26 – September 5, 2010.
The Museum will be closed from Monday, Sept. 13 through Thursday, Sept. 16 for our annual clean-up week. The Museum will reopen with sparkle and shine on Friday, Sept. 17.
