PT Exhibit Guide

The Exhibit Guide will assist in maintaining a safe, fun and educational museum experience for all visitors and volunteers.

Individual Responsibilities:

• Ensure a high quality experience for all visitors.

• Conduct sanitization tasks to ensure the cleanliness of the exhibits and museum.
• Assist with museum rentals and special events.
• Interact with children, parents and teachers and facilitate the learning experience in the exhibits.
• Set and reset exhibits areas throughout the day or evening.
• Attend monthly training meetings.
• Assist in Museum programs to enhance visitor experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Public Programs, Associate Manager or Assistant Managers.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with young children preferred

• Basic math, verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to take initiative
• Ability to walk, stand, sit, bend, squat and/or kneel for significant portions of each day
• Basic understanding of customer service
• Must be available to work weekday and weekend hours.
