GLENVIEW, IL – As Kohl Children’s Museum celebrates its 25th anniversary, the Museum welcomes W. Fritz Souder to the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Donna Sims Wilson to the position of Vice Board Chair. Souder succeeds former Museum Board Chairman Frederick H. Waddell, who served the Museum since 1996.

After joining as President of the Museum’s Board of Governors, Waddell was elected Board Chairman in 1999, serving the maximum three consecutive three-year terms. Given Waddell’s extensive length of service and commitment to the Museum, he has been named Chairman Emeritus.

“I cannot think of two more qualified and passionate individuals to lead the Museum as it embarks on this landmark anniversary year,” said Waddell. “As chairman of the campaign to build the new Museum in Glenview, Fritz was instrumental in the planning, fundraising, and construction stages to ensure a world-class facility. Having Fritz and Donna at the helm will truly set the Museum on a secure course for success for its second 25 years.”
