Fitness for All
Fitness for All activities are focused around getting and staying healthy. Whether it’s an opportunity to build your endurance, stretch your muscles, build gross motor skills, we’ll help put the “active” in interactive.
The following activities take place inside the Museum, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:30 – 4 p.m. through March. Beginning in April, Fitness for All activities take place Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. in Habitat Park, weather permitting:
Ready, set, action! As we listen to animal sounds, let’s act and move like animals.April 2 - April 14: Fitness Dice
Get energized as we roll our fitness dice and act out different movements.April 16 - April 21: Bunny Feet
Not just for bunnies! Jumping and hopping is so much fun for everyone!April 23 - May 5: Animal Games
Join in the fun by imitating the ways animals move. You can march like an elephant and waddle like a penguin.May 7 - May 19: Move to the Beat
Play an energetic game of musical spots as you move to the beat of the drum.May 21 - June 2: Boat vs. Shore
Ahoy Matey! Calling all sailors to join us as we pretend to swim between boat and shore!June 4 - June 16: Tiny Golf Trail
Stretch your leg muscles as you walk the mini course, and use your hand-eye coordination to putt a hole-in-one!June 18 - June 30: Beach Ball Bonanza
