Tell Us Your Story!

Did you or someone you know visit Kohl Children’s Museum as a child? If so, we want to hear YOUR story!

We are trying to get connected with young adults who attended the Museum as a child (either at our current Glenview location or our earlier facility in Wilmette) and have memories they could share of how the Museum affected them. We want to collect these into a “Kohl Children’s Museum Legacy” compilation.

Here’s one story: Kyilah was a student in Mrs. Burton’s daycare center in Chicago while she was participating in our Early Childhood Education outreach program. When the class came to the Museum on their free field trips, Mrs. Burton noticed the children were fascinated with insects and bugs. She guided the children on a project on insects during which Kyilah tended caterpillars and measured them as they grew. Kyilah directly attributes that project to her first love of animals and science and is now studying marine biology at UCLA!

Share your story and memories of how the Museum impacted your life!
