Visit the Spotlight Studio for the performance of three stories that capture the antics and fun of animal tricksters from around the world.

Trickster #1 from Africa – Anansi the Spider
Discover how wisdom spreads to all creatures in the world, with the help of the sky god Nyame. But, don’t be fooled by Anansi the spider who gets a little greedy. 

Trickster #2 from South America — Tio Conejo
Tio Conejo, (Uncle Rabbit), thinks he is the most clever animal in the forest, and therefore, should also be the biggest. He travels to see Papa Dios, who agreed to make Tio bigger. But first, Tio needs to perform three impossible tasks. Watch the adventure to see what happens next!

Trickster #3 from Southern United States – Brer Rabbit
Brer Fox is tired of being tricked by Brer Rabbit, so now it is his turn to try out a trick. Fox forms a baby doll out of lump of tar, dresses it up, and puts it right in the path of Brer Rabbit. Will Rabbit be tricked? Watch and find out!

Visit often to experience each silly trickster. Each performance is about 10 minutes, and will repeat on the following dates and times throughout May:
