Great Events Start With A Great Venue!

“Hosting an event at Kohl Children's Museum allows us to bring together both clients and prospective clients in a casual and fun atmosphere. We find it is a great way to introduce people to our firm and to connect with clients and their families. It has been and continues to be an excellent marketing and business development opportunity because we are able to provide an opportunity for clients to have fun with their families and to mingle with our attorneys on a personal level, thus enriching our relationship with them. The cost of the event is small compared to what we get back in return.”

Gala fundraisers, company outings, weddings, corporate events and meetings: whatever your special day, Kohl Children’s Museum of Greater Chicago has everything you need to make it a day to remember!

Kohl Children’s Museum’s prime location in Glenview, just northwest of Chicago, between Route I-294 to the west, Willow Road to the north, Route I-94 to the east, and Lake Avenue to the south, means the Museum facility is easy to access. Plus ample free parking is available in the Museum’s 200-space parking lot!

Uniquely fun: Within our walls are 17 interactive exhibits designed to foster learning through play. From hands-on experimentation with music and water to cooperative play in a child-sized supermarket and pet vet, adults and children alike will find plenty to spark their imaginations.

A Green Museum: Kohl Children’s Museum has created an environmentally friendly, energy-efficient facility that has earned Silver-level certification as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) building from the U.S. Green Building Council. With clerestory windows, energy-efficient lighting, and state-of-the-art HVAC, the Museum is one of the greenest facilities in the Chicago suburban area!

Universal Design: Kohl Children’s Museum is inclusive for guests with any level of physical, visual, auditory, or cognitive ability. Special attention was paid to exhibit content, labels and signage, accessible routes, and multiple modes of access to ensure an interactive experience for all visitors
