The Kohlights Holiday Lightacular!
Step into a world of wonder at The Kohlights Holiday Lightacular! It’s more than a stroll through twinkling lights. This interactive holiday-themed light experience allows children to explore, experiment, and let their imaginations shine as they interact with light and color throughout this one-of-a-kind holiday experience. The show must “glow” on!
Plus, enjoy the warmth of all the indoor exhibits! Kohlights is an indoor/outdoor experience, with access to all indoor exhibits as well. Bundle up and get ready to glow! Kohlights is the perfect way for families to celebrate the season together.

Kohl Children’s Museum members receive $6 off all tickets purchased. Sign In after you select your tickets. Discounts will be applied BEFORE credit card information is entered. If you have difficulty receiving your discount, please contact members@kcmgc.org before purchasing.
- Tickets are required for entry for all adults and children over 12 months of age.
- The event will go on regardless of weather. Tickets are non-refundable unless the Kohlights experience is unable to operate due to electrical, public health, or winter weather emergency issues.
- Ticket prices include access to all indoor exhibits as well as outdoor light activities, Twinkle Train rides, and character meet & greets.
Interactive Activities
- Rainbow Arbor: Push buttons with friends to make the courtyard trees burst into brilliant rainbow colors.
- Winter Garden: Skip, twirl, and dance through a wonderland filled with giant illuminated flowers and butterflies.
- Brilliant Blossoms: Change the colors of flowers to make them bloom in dazzling shades of light.
- Shadow Play Snowbank: Strike a pose! See your shadows come to life as you play with light, color.
- Glow Tunnel: Wander through a dazzling underground tunnel.
- Sound Forest: Experiment with sound in a grove of trees with magical lights that respond to noises.
- Twinkle Train: All aboard! Take a short ride through a trail of twinkling lights and glowing displays in Habitat Park. Final Twinkle Train ride 6:50 PM. Habitat Park closes at 7 PM.
- Santa Meet & Greet: Fridays ONLY: Meet & greet and photo op with Santa
- Frozen Meet & Greet: Meet the Snow Queen Elsa and her sister Anna for a frosty photo and a warm holiday hello! Meet & Greet times: 5 – 6:30 PM.
- Sun, Dec 21 ONLY: Dreidel Game Night: Activities include decorating your own dreidel to take with you, game tables to play dreidel as a family, festive music, and an art activity.
