Kohl Children’s Museum’s professional development program is designed for teachers, caregivers, parents, and other adults who interact with children ages birth through 8. These are offered both at your site or at the Museum.
Each workshop topic is aligned with Common Core State Standards, Illinois Early Learning & Development Standards and NAEYC Early Learning Standards. Kohl Children’s Museum training are approved by Gateways to Opportunity.
Below is a list of our upcoming trainings for educators. All sessions provide CPDUs and Gateways hours upon request. We are now offering both online and in-person trainings at $20 per participant.

Join us at the Kohl Children’s Museum for this in-person training. We will focus on bringing playful practices to science learning, and include hands-on experiences for attendees.
Designing Successful Science Centers – Webinar
Thursday, August 11, 10 AM – Noon
Our education team will introduce key components of an engaging science area for classrooms with centers, and explore methods of increasing discovery.
