Artistic Expressions Jr.

The works of artists Woodrow Nash, Maya Hayuk, Frank Stella and Gustav Klimt will ground student-driven investigations as they actively explore color, pattern, and shape through a variety of materials.

• Experiment with a variety of materials to build an understanding of the difference between two- and three- dimensional art.
• Explore using clay and loose parts as art media.
• Work individually and collaboratively to create artworks.
• Look at and discuss artworks based on visual elements and narrative.
