Let children’s curiosity take over at various STEAM programs designed to spark curiosity and experimentation.

These programs run seasonally October through April.

STEAM Explorers

Explore the building and designing process, scientific method, food science and preparation tools, engineering, science exploration, and much more.

This month, investigate the lives of some of the tiniest, creepiest crawlers that live around us—insects and spiders and worms, oh my!

Join us in welcoming Glenview Public Library to the Museum’s Spotlight Studio as we explore STEAM concepts through interactive story times.

This month, we’re reading Log Life by Amy Hevron—from little bugs to large critters, explore the life that bustles in a fallen log!

STEAM Stories with Glenview Public Library is free for all attendees, but does not include Museum admission. Museum admission can be optionally purchased before or after attending these events. No registration required, but capacity is limited.

Full STEAM Ahead at Glenview Public Library

Unleash your inner maker at Full STEAM Ahead, a quarterly series of hands-on activity workshops held at Glenview Public Library and led by Kohl Children’s Museum educators.

This quarter, tinker with technology as you code a robot, create with 3D pens, and more!
