*PLEASE NOTE: All birthday parties occur on Saturdays or Sundays, and your reservation is not confirmed until payment is completed. Additionally, our parties are not designed to be “drop-off” parties. All children must be supervised by an adult over the age of 16 at all times when in the museum.

Basic Party Package

For smaller parties.

All Basic Party packages include:

• 1 hour and 30 minutes in your private party room
• Museum admission during & after your party for up to 30 guests, including adults and children.
• Provided parking for guests
• Catering packages from our on-site Bean Sprouts Café (specific food requirements excepted)
• Must book at least 7 days prior to reservation date
• These parties occur during regular public museum hours on Saturdays & Sundays.

• Kohl Children’s Museum Members*: $425
• Non-Members: $500

Any guests over the allotted 30 will be charged at $19/person

*Member rate does not apply for corporate or reciprocal Museum members.

Parties Plus Package

Our most popular party! More time, more guests, and more privacy.

All Parties Plus packages include:

• 2 hours and 30 minutes in your private party room
• Semi-private museum admission during your party for up to 50 guests, including adults and children
• Provided parking for guests
• Freedom to bring in food & drink of your choice!
• Must book at least 2 weeks prior to reservation date
• These parties occur when the museum is closed to the public and open to other Parties Plus parties on Saturdays at 5:30 PM and Sundays at 2:30 PM.

• Non-Members: $850

Any guests over the allotted 50 will be charged at $19/person

NEW: Our most exclusive, private party! Perfect for 1st Birthday Parties. 

All VIP Party Packages include:

• 3 hours private rental of the entire museum (18,000 sq ft), including 4 private party rooms
• Completely private museum admission to indoor & outdoor exhibits for up to 500 guests
• Provided parking for guests
• Freedom to bring in food & drink of your choice!
• Must book at least 2-3 weeks before the reservation date
• These parties occur when the museum is closed to the public and all other guests.
