Toying with Tech introduces children to the exciting world of technology in a developmentally appropriate way. Programming takes place approximately every other Thursday from 2:30 – 3:30 p.m.

Explore using a series of directions, problem solving and debugging to create maps and figure out what path to take to avoid the “bugs” in the maze to reach the end.October 12, October 26: Following Directions
By giving them a series of directions, children will lead adults through a shape map while problem solving and debugging when encountering “bugs” to reach a determined end.November 9: Cause & Effect with Patterns
Explore if/then-conditional statements of coding by creating and following patterns through cause and effect games.December 7, December 21: Sequencing & Symbols
Unplugged Technology! Children will explore and practice creating sequences with tangible technology tools. This activity will help children understand the coding importance of sequencing and recognizing symbols.
