Self-Guided Field Trips
Children are encouraged to explore all 17 of our exhibits at their own pace. The exhibits are all carefully designed to meet the developmental needs of children from birth to age 8, and are aligned to Common Core State Standards and Illinois Early Learning & Development Standards.
Self-Guided Field Trips Include:
- 15-minute orientation
- 1 1/2 hours to explore the interactive, hands-on exhibits
- Option to utilize lunch room for 1⁄2 hour AFTER your field trip (must be reserved in advance)
Fee: $10 per child | Minimum group size is 10

School Connections: Field Trip Scholarships
A limited number of field trip scholarships are available to classrooms serving high populations of children receiving free or reduced lunches.
