Focused Field Trips

These trips provide hands-on learning experiences that expand on concepts integrated into the Museum exhibits. These are designed to meet the developmental needs of young children up to age 8.

Focused Field Trips Include:

  • 15-minute orientation
  • 45-minute guided workshop conducted by a Museum Educator
  • 45 minutes of Museum exploration
  • Pre- and post-visit extension materials
  • Option to utilize lunch room for 1⁄2 hour (must be reserved in advance)

Fee: $7 per child

Minimum group size is 16

Field Trip Scholarships

A limited number of field trip scholarships are available to classrooms or child care centers designated by the Museum as a school or center of need.
