STEAM Stories

Join us as we welcome the Glenview Public Library for special story times in Spotlight Studio at the Museum entrance! Explore STEAM concepts with interactive readings featuring songs, rhymes, and more.

This program takes place at 10:30 & 11:15 AM on the first Sunday of every month.

STEAM Stories with Glenview Public Library is free for all attendees, but does not include Museum admission. Museum admission can be optionally purchased before or after attending these events. No registration required, but capacity is limited.

Program is suspended until October 2023.

October 1: Science with “Hey Water!” by Antoinette Portis

“From sprinklers to icebergs, discover water in its many shapes and forms with Hey, Water!.”

November 5: Science and Art with “Tanka and Skunk” by Steve Webb

“Explore rhythm and rhyme with a drum-beating elephant and skunk in Tanka and Skunk.”

  • Seniors (65+): $18
  • Infants (Under 12 months): Free
  • Members: Free
  • Military: Buy 1, Get 1 Free
  • Museums for All Program (EBT/WIC cardholders): $3/person (up to 4 admissions) *P-EBT not valid

All children must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Members-Only Hours: 8:30 – 9:30 AM Daily
The Museum is closed for general admission on these holidays in 2023 and 2024:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve
