Focused Field Trips

Things to know about your Focused Field Trip:

• Fee: $13 per child
• Standard field trip times are 90 minutes total.
• Children will spend half this time in a hands-on workshop led by a Museum Education Specialist and the other half in free exploration of our 16 interactive exhibits.
• Minimum group size is 16.
• Groups between 25 and 50 children will be split into two sessions.
• Lunch room reservations can be arranged at no charge after the workshop
• Please Note: Focused Field Trips require advance reservation of at least 3 weeks. You must receive a confirmation from the Museum to receive a focused field trip. Without a confirmation, regular general admission prices may apply when you arrive, and no workshop session will be available.
• All exhibits and workshops are carefully designed to meet the developmental needs of children from birth to age 8, and are aligned to Common Core State Standards and Illinois Early Learning & Development Standards.
